In this assignment, you will add the remaining Introductory sections to the proposal. You will incorporate any edits or recommendations provided by your Faculty Project Advisor into this revised working draft of your proposal.

You also will do a deep dive into of the sponsoring organization in order to evaluate the environment in which the proposed intervention or change will be deployed. You will take the information gleaned through use of the tools that provided insight into the problem within the context of the organization. You will also discussion opportunities and barriers to an effective sustained implementation of the project. 

For this submission you will do the following:

  • Review feedback on other submitted parts of the proposal from your Faculty Project Advisor.  These recommended edits and revisions MUST be incorporated into the current proposal draft.
  • Add the following content into the appropriate sections of the Introduction:
    • Description of the Sponsoring Organization
    • Organizational Needs Assessment – what organizational data exist that indicates there is a problem?

      • Description of the Sponsoring Organization  – mission, value, organizatonal/leadership structure
      • Stakeholder Analysis – who is needed to successfully complete the project? (Use data gathered when completing the Stakeholder Analysis and Communication Tool)
      • Project Management Tools used to clarify the project and supports needed for successful implementation
        • Include as Appendices Project Management tools such as Fishbone Diagram, Driver Diagram, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, etc.
        • Address Findings of the organizational Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) Analyses
        • Make sure you have made reference to items you add to the Appendices in the text.
