“The transformational leadership approach encourages, inspires, and motivates employees to innovate and create the change necessary to shape the future success of the company.” (White, 2022). I believe this is a new way of managing people now days. It is basically giving employees the opportunity to become leaders as well. Transformative leaders are those who impacts and/ or provokes a change on employee’s development. I will employ a transformational leadership style in my service by motivating my team to do their best and leave their comfort zone. I would like to have a comfortable environment and a transparent business. As a leader, I will listen to their concerns, and invite them to be part of the solution to any problems that arises in the clinic. I would meet their needs and will expect the same from them. I know I can accomplish all this as long as I set a good example. Certain policies, procedures and incentives will have to be involved to make my leadership transformational. For example, I will have an incentive program that will consist of having an employee of the month. This person will receive a monetary bonus and will have two extra days off that month. To be fair and inclusive, each employee will have the opportunity to be employee of the month 2 times max per year. The employees that need improvement, will be addressed with the intentions of helping them become better and qualify to be employee of the month.
I will serve as a role model and would work hard so my employees feel motivated to do what is best for the clinic and the services provided as we work together as a team.

Transformational leadership is an important tool in inspiring employees to be engaged in their work and loyal to an organization. Transformational leaders will encourage creativity and thinking outside of the box for situational solutions (Cherry, 2022). Transformational leaders will consider individual needs and have open communication to foster their relationships (Cherry, 2022). These leaders will inspire those around them and will lead by example (Cherry, 2022). They are authentic leaders who practice self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and communication (Cherry, 2022). In order to promote transformative leadership skills within an organization, it is important to have leadership training for those that will be in leadership roles, especially those new to leadership. Offering training in emotional intelligence and problem-solving will allow leaders to see problems from other perspectives and seek outside influence to streamline processes throughout an organization. Having regular one-on-one and group meeting allows leaders to be informed of ongoing issues within the organization and address them with the employees. Often those that are most familiar with a process will have ideas on how to improve or streamlined the process in which are not currently working. Meeting with the employees opens the lines of communication and allows them to feel heard & addressing the issues they face will encourage them to take ownership of improving processes. These policies would not only improve the fiscal processes of an organization but would foster employee engagement and loyalty.
