As a medical professor, I have been actively meeting this competency through my practicum experience. To meet this competency, I have been implementing evidence-based teaching practices that support change and innovation in the classroom setting. Additionally, I have been working with my colleagues to identify areas of improvement in our curriculum and developing strategies to address these areas.

While I have been meeting the required behaviors for this competency, there are behaviors that I have not considered in my teaching. For instance, I have not given much thought to the role of social media in nursing education and how I can use these platforms to advocate for change and disseminate evidence-based teaching practices. Therefore, I plan to incorporate social media into my teaching strategies to reach out to a broader audience and advocate for change.
